Meet Tamara.

Tamara joined the funeral industry five years ago. Prior to joining the industry, she worked in Aged Care.

What makes Simplicity special?

I find that at Simplicity, we offer a great service at an affordable price, which is very helpful, especially during such a time we are living in. We are very flexible and have many options to cater to families' needs and beliefs. We are very lucky to have a vast variety of staff from all walks of life with years of experience and knowledge. We make a great team, and I am very honored to be a part of Simplicity Funerals.

What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
What I like about being a Funeral Arranger is being there to help guide families who are going through what could be one of the hardest moments in their life. I find it rewarding to help make the funeral process as easy as possible for them and to give their loved one a dignified and beautiful send-off.

What do you like about your local area?

Here in Windsor, there is a very strong sense of community. They have been through so much in recent years due to floods and fires, and how they just seem to carry on amazes me. There are also great spots to have a bite to eat. I love one of the local Chinese restaurants down the road, from which I tend to buy lunch once a week. And the ice cream shops that my children love; we often come here on the weekend to get ice cream.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
When the weather is lovely, my family and I enjoy going down to the river or the pools to spend time by the water and go for a swim. We often visit our family up the coast and take the children to the beach, where they spend the day having fun and patting all the locals' dogs.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I love to go camping with my family. Recently, we did a trip to Moreton Island for the second time, and it was absolutely amazing. Anywhere there is water nearby is so peaceful, even during wintertime by a river. We plan to take more trips and explore new places, but so far, Moreton Island has taken the cake for me.
