What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I get to meet many different families and help them to organise a unique and individual farewell, tailored to their loved one.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I’m really interested in the history of the Titanic and like to collect memorabilia associated with it.
What do you like about your local area?
It has the best of what the Gold Coast has to offer, with its beautiful beach and headland. There are also many great cafes and restaurants close by.
What’s the most remarkable funeral you’ve ever arranged?
I once looked after the funeral of a retired fireman. His wife had invited his old work colleagues who surprised her by bringing the fire trucks to the funeral service and doing a guard of honour at the end. She was overcome with emotion as she hadn’t expected such a personal tribute from them.
