Meet Lyn
She became a funeral director in November 2022, something she had always wanted to do, driven by a genuine desire to guide and support families during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Before this, she worked in Government for many years, also in a caring and supportive role.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I enjoy working with a group of people who all love what they do and genuinely care about providing an excellent service to our families. I also enjoy sitting down with families to plan a farewell that’s as unique and special as their loved one, encouraging them to think outside the box.
What do you like about your local area?
I love living south of the city. I enjoy being close to the hills, wineries, and beaches and feel we’re spoilt for choice. As a country girl, I appreciate the sense of community and the friendliness of the people in my area.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I love travelling and enjoy everything from camping in a tent to the luxury of a cruise ship. A quick weekend away in the bush is just as enjoyable as sitting on a balcony watching the world go by.
